Another piece of work here.
I had tickets from the late ‘70’s through the early ‘90s and know for a fact that players got summer jobs.
Now, they didn’t work that hard, but they still worked. Saw them cash their checks. It was for an oil field services company which I was friends with the owner.
Call it what you want. Until I see the evidence where exactly money or other benefits changed hands, he is innocent until proven guilty.

This stuff has all been looked into already a year ago and Wade was cleared yet we still have the same morons who swore he had coached his last game back then pretending like this is new. These people live in a fantasy world and refuse to have their gossip disrupted by facts. They’d rather lose Wade and damage the program than be wrong about their stupid assumptions. They’re literally taking the word of a convicted felon, who Wade helped put away, over Will Wade. These people are Rantards not LSU fans and yea there is a difference.

Dawkins was convicted of wire fraud and bribery and the payments to players were from shoe companies to funnel their players to a sports agency he represented. You and the other morons are so far off on what you think this is about it’s laughable. Try knowing the facts instead of posting bullshite.

First off he was never under investigation to begin with. The famous “Wade wire tap” was actually a wire tap on Dawkins not Wade. Dawkins was tried for wire fraud and bribery and neither had anything to do with college basketball. The charges were related to shoe companies funneling money to players in exchange for those players signing with a sports agency not a school. The coaches were brought in to shed light on Dawkins activities and provide scope to the FBIs investigation already in progress. Dawkins lawyers released comments from the wire taps taken out of context to smear the coaches who were cooperating with the investigation. Questions about the alleged Javonte Smart comments were looked into. Smart was held out until questioned and cleared, Wade was suspended until he was questioned and cleared. For someone who comments on this subject definitively and constantly you don’t seem to know much about it aside from repeating the rumors of a convict attempting to smear people who helped convict him.
