All sports have been cancelled this year as far as I’m concerned. I’ll play next year by ear.

Will watch a ton of sports starting this Thursday. Perhaps more than ever this year. Big 12, ACC, and the NFL starting this weekend, and the SEC starting on 9/26. GEAUX TIGERS, WHODAT!!!!!!!

I’m watching golf and that’s it. I was always able to keep politics and entertainment separate until Jacob Blake’s name made its way into the Saint’s helmets. That was a bridge to far for me to cross.
No one says a damn thing about the 5 year old white kid who was executed by a black guy, but they parade around with the name of a sexual predator on their helmets solely because he was black, resisted arrest, and got himself shot by a white cop.

Big difference. Cancel culture from the left isn’t simply boycotting or not consuming a product. They take it to the point they want the product to no longer exist for anyone to enjoy. If people want to continue watching and enjoying sports, they’re welcome to. I’m just choosing not to consume and not to let my kids be exposed to that type of product.
