Got family in BC that’s heading up here to Livingston Parish this AM. They have family up in Alexandria, but apparently they’re still in cleanup mode from Laura up there.

To be clear, I’m not on the extreme southern end. I’m In BC but I really don’t like this type of shite Not really worried about rain or flooding, but the wind and the possibility of eating a tornado is what gets me

Me too. There are areas in here that will get some water but we aren’t in them.

Yes.

Didn’t Issac flood the Laplace area pretty bad? I know lower Livingston took on water as well, but I think it was more surge than rain.

Damn, all these people displaced from Laura in NOLA now staring down Sally. Definitely freaked out about NOLA and Old Metairie.

Duke, are we talking catastrophic in those areas or power loss etc? Basically should we get the F out?

Don't think you will have enough time for that to freeze up
Well, we're going to find out. It went in at about 8:10

Empty half of it. When that’s frozen, add more water. It’ll freeze quicker with less volume.

Hope the Parish gets those sand bags on Airline at the Parish line put out... Levee on the 17th St canal between Metairie Rd and Airline was completely re-done after Katrina...

I’m in Lakeview and currently planning to stay. If it strengthens to a Cat 3 I think I’m out of here.

Does it flood during a bad storm? Can they hang without power for a week-ish?
