Just from all of the info gathered, I believe there was a conversation and possibly an offer in good faith to start negotiating. The negotiations with Riley never began because he wasn't interested. Following that timeline, that was about two weeks ago. Woodward likely waited 48-72 hours, then moved on. Don't know if Riley was the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd guy, or if he was a fallback option, but I'm sure that Woodward didn't put everything into thos hire happening unless negotiations started, and if Riley agreed to a deal in principle then reneged, his agent and all other clients of that agent should be pretty pissed at him.
