Mainly seafood, fried chicken, southern/ diner breakfast and BBQ. Off the beaten path a plus. Thanks so much.

I’ve always been happy with Midwood BBQ.

There aren’t many great seafood options in Charlotte.

I do love the Biloxi Shrimp at Beef N’ Bottle (oldest steakhouse in Charlotte and it has character). You need to make reservations.

Mert’s Heart & Soul for fried chicken since Price’s Chicken Coop closed.

Midnight Diner

I second Midwood for BBQ. Noble Smoke is good too.

I haven’t found a bbq place there yet. We have made several trips, but are moving there permanently in about a month. Midwood was decent but that’s about it.

For seafood: Fin & Fino, Eddie V's, or Rock Salt

Southern: Haberdish or The Southern Pecan

BBQ: Midwood or McKoy's

Breakfast: Easy Like Sunday or Metro Diner

Bojangles for biscuits and fried chicken. Not joking, really good.

Optimist Hall is a real cool adult food court. Has a lot of different things. Everything was awesome when we went.

Duckworths for pub grub

The Smoke Pit in Concord is amazing. Go early, they sell out.

Took me a few days to remember this place: Lupie's. Southern hipster; what would happen if Louie's met a meat-and-three.
