This morning I washed some smallish white potatoes and rubbed them down with bacon drippings for baking. Seasoned them up a bit later and baked them the scooped out the meat of them and mixed that up well with sour cream, butter, Boursin Chive & Shallots Cheese, and some cheddar cheese. Stuffed it back into the skins and topped with more cheese. This evening those went back into the oven to heat up and melt the cheese topping. While that was happening I cooked a few pounds of green beans on the Weber griddle and added some sauce to them.

Then it was time to cooked the pork chops(not really thick chops).

In no time it was time to eat!

Not a bad meal!!!!!

Went to the grocery store to pick up a few things with no idea about dinner. Big rack of fresh baked loaves right in the door. Roast beef and swiss on that bread was a great impromptu meal.

Stone crab season is ending so I ordered 6 pounds of stone crab claws from a place in the Keys. The Mrs. and I pigged out on stone crab this evening; it was delicious.

Pork loin I got at rouses for $3.97. Rubbed with slap ya mama and some ginger teriyaki glaze. Side salad. Cheap, delicious and easy.

I can't believe I had never heard of this. Will buy tomorrow. I sense the onset of a new addiction. Not sure whether to thank you or curse you.
