Nice. They might not need a side. Risotto maybe? ...
RV Works Fryer 6 gallon
Really great fryer. They can turn out some volume. I've got 2 six gallon ones for big fish fries. Can cook enough for 125 people (fish, hush puppies and fries) in about an hour. I toss that oil but I could see it lasting for a long time with home use. ...

I guess I'll the be contrarian. I have an electric 5 liter electric fryer I keep outside. I buy the cheapest canola oil I can find when I change oil. I usually get 4-6 fries out of the oil, depending on what I fry. I never strain or filter the oil between fries. Just turn it off and put ...
From what I've gathered, massive amounts of money could be made by the first person to open proper Cajun restaurants, Louisiana Seafood joints, and poboy shops
That is so true. We live in Georgia and my Cajun wife's rule is to not order gumbo in a restaurant east of the Atchafalaya...
This could be a good thread. I don't have any suggestions beyond dredging in a corn meal heavy breading. I've mixed in corn starch, corn flour and used blue bag and other mixes. I just like a light crispy corn meal crust so I haven't explored other options... and I fry a lot of catfish. ...

The favorite fish thread had me craving a fish fry. The seafood market had some nice bream on ice. First time I've seen them sold retail. Growing up, I thought that was the only kind of fish there was. Fried some catfish for the ones afraid of bones. Grits and slaw on the side. [img]https://...
bluegill
That's about the only fish I knew of growing up. Little ones fried whole and crispy. Went to my local seafood market today and was surprised to see some on ice. Frying them up tonight. [img]https://i.postimg....
Nope. It was stolen from Guthries.
This is the correct answer. And Zaxby's copied it first. It all could have going differently too. Graves was enrolled to attend Georgia Tech, and he went on a trip to Athens with a friend before classes started. After a weekend in Athens, ...
Isn't the DOJ a part of the Executive Branch? Are you saying MTJ wants to defund the Executive Branch?
Why not? It's very common for Appropriation bills to defund executive actions. Happens every year. Of course the reality is it would never pass the Senate if the House passed ...
Not gumbo, but around Christmas a few years ago, I made duck breast pastrami. It was one of the best tasting things I've ever made. Really outstanding way to make the breast meat shine. Not sure how much it would matter, but these breasts were nice big farm raised ones. I've made gumbo with ...
