Common Bermuda, been putting down 1/2 pound of 46-0-0 every two weeks to spoon feed it with a spray cart. Should I be putting something like a 13-13-13 in the bare areas to help it more?

Why are the spots bare?

Shaded? Compaction? Poor drainage?

Have you considered plugging the bare area from the healthy grass?

.5 pound per thousand sf2 of 46/0/0 every two weeks? I feel like that is a shite ton of nitrogen, no? Bermuda is supposed to get a total of 2-4 pounds per thousand over the course of a year. You're hitting that in 2 or 3 months unless I am mistaken.

If you like spoon feeding or spraying in general, pick up some sea kelp concentrate, that’ll get the runners running.

Can feed 1-1.5lbs per month when it's growing for sure. Cut it as often as you can and it should help. I'm slamming nitrogen right now and cutting at least 3x per week with my reel mower. Now that the weather is heating up you should see some improvement. No telling if you should feed anything other than nitrogen without a soil test. Follow this and it should put you on track

Sprayed late in year last year where st Augustine grass was growing before new home build. Put down sandy soil to help growth but spot is very big. Will definitely be plugging that area and hitting it with water. It’s partially shaded but receives enough sunshine through the day to have Bermuda

So it’s bare because it used to be St Aug? If that’s the case all it needs is time.

Get a soil test and see if it needs phosphorus (P). Many soils have plenty of P, the middle number of the 13-13-13 example. But if, in your case, P is deficient, that could hinder the spread.

Can easily do 6-8 lbs from April through September with high temps and adequate water. Easily.

I see common Bermuda tacking down roots and spreading in gravel both at home and in the parking lot at work.

I don’t think P or K is an issue.
I put down a triple 13 in the spring then straight N. Lowe’s Sta-Green Ammonium Sulfate is all you need. If lawn is low in ph use 46-0-0 urea instead.

I do have RGS (root growth stimulator) but that’s only because I enjoy spraying stuff on the lawn. Kind of kidding, but not convinced it works. It contains sea kelp. Can’t hurt

One more thing shoeless, how often are you mowing? Every two days combined with urea and heat will push it like crazy.

Mowing about every 3/4 days but will be starting to mow every two since grass is starting to grow a little more the last few days
Will be putting plugs in some of the bare area tomorrow and watering it in to help.
