Stevenson isn’t capable of hitting .295 with 19 dingers. We need 2021 Dugas. Stevenson’s time will come.

I heard Johnson say Wednesday night (post-game show) that he got a lot of swings this week and was "pretty sore". They were trying to get a feel for where he was. It sounds like he wasn't ready to be back full time yet.

I expect he will pinch hit again this weekend but I don't think we'll see him in the starting lineup yet.

You do realize that Dugas has the highest on base percentage on the team, right?

As soon as Dugas is healthy he’ll be back in left field.

He’s literally hitting .295 right now and was like 1 home run behind his pace last year before he got hurt

I agree with this for sure but Stevenson is just fine to fill in until Dugas is healthy. No need to rush him back. He hit the ball hard a few at bats last night. Just didn't fall for him.

Travinski on the other hand had a lot of at bats that were pretty bad last night and I think we may see McManus get the start today.

If you watched last night the announcers saw Dugas make a catch or two in LF

Agreed that Stevenson will be fine until Dugas is back. As far as catching goes, I think we'll just see a rotation of them two until Milazzo is back, if he is ever able to come back. Both Travinski and McManus can look really good and really bad at times. Probably best just to play the matchups/whoever has the hot bat.

TBH I would rather rest him this weekend and let him get closer to 100% before reinserting him into the lineup.

Because like you said we need him to make a run, but that will be at the end of the season. We can manage right now without him.

Let the team continue to improve and then when he is healthy put him back into the lineup and the team can get hot and takeoff during the post season.
