He said it was close to Tennesse and we don’t play them. Seems he is saying Vandy....
I was more talking about you mentioning MJ Seo transferring. I know what you meant on Mitchell. Neither of them have anything on twitter about entering the portal. However Mitchell is in the transfer portal but Seo is not. That is per the D1 baseball transfer portal tracker....
So you checked Mitchell's twitter and didn't see anything about transferring but his name is actually in the portal per D1 baseball. Yet MJ doesn't have anything on twitter about transferring either nor is he on D1 transfer tracker but you say he is transferring? Doesn't quite make sense there....
Milam invited to the Collegiate team USA training camp to possibly be selected to play for team USA this summer. Pretty impressive to be invited as a freshman....
Likely thought he was worth more than MLB teams thought he was. Nothing really screams MLB potential when you look at his numbers or watch him play. If he was asking a certain price and teams wouldn't meet it they would just move on from him. That said, I think he is a good college ball player an...
Mikey and J Mitch both believe he is going pro.
They also mentioned they think he is a 2nd rounder right now. If he gets picked in the 2nd round then he probably should go. I’ve said on here I don’t think he goes and that’s based on me thinking he is a 4-5th rounder. I don’t think ...

re: Does Yeskie return?

For what it is worth in this conversation, Christian Little was on AFR a little bit ago and he had nothing but good things to say about the 3 pitching coaches he had in his college career. Said he had 3 really good and well respected pitching coaches. Mentioned how Yeskie came it and it is overlooke...
Definitely a wide net. I have been keeping up with the names of guys being followed and I am up to 34 portal names already. Some of them to me have no business coming to LSU but are still followed. I think Josh Jordan jumps on them early for research purposes and if minimal interest is there he foll...
Now it only take 1 team to really like them and I understand that. If a team throws the money at them that they are wanting to sign that is a completely different scenario. I'm talking more with the value of where they are ranked now.
I 100% agree with what you said. That's why aft...
I see a lot of people saying they should assume both of them to be gone. I guess my thought process is if you look at the 156-186 pick in the draft you are looking at about $300-500K. So both of the guys we are talking about were rumored to have passed on significant money out of high school. If the...

You have to have a mix to win championships. Can't win with just 1 or the other no matter which way you would prefer....

re: Aiden Moffett portal?

How do we know the misuse is on Yeskie? Jay likely makes those decisions. I think Moffett improved a lot from last season to this season. Much more consistent in the zone. I can't say for sure if Yeskie has anything to do with that but one would assume that he had a hand in it....
I agree. If he can mix a changeup for RH hitters and extend longer into games he will be a really good starter for LSU and also improve his draft stock. A low 90s relief pitcher with 2 pitches does not translate into the draft though. That is why I can see him returning....
The team does not lose any extra draft picks, just have to pay slot value from the money pool allowed and not get a player....
For sure, I was just relating prospect ranking to numbers. These conversations are so hard to have and predict with all the different parts of an MLB draft. So many moving parts you can try top predict all you want but you just have to sit back and see how it all plays out....
What about the kid from Jackson prep? Did we just sign him as a ceremonial thing? His dad has his softball team one win away from a D3 championship
He will be drafted in the top 10 picks of the draft and make a ton of money....
Ohhh ok. Yea, unless you pay they don't release those rankings until after the draft....
I understand what you are saying but I disagree. I think if he can develop and learn a 3rd pitch and show he can extend consistently, he will jump into the top 2 rounds. Right now he is projected around the 4th or 5th round. That could be a difference up to $1 mil in signing bonus....
I agree with you and think he stays as well. Showing the ability to stretch out and be a reliable starter will majorly help his draft stock. ...
