All we know is it wont start on thursday because supers have never started on thursday

On the broadcast Ben McDonald specifically mentioned it would start Friday.
I'm not sure how he knows that, or if he was improperly assuming, but he said it.

The tickets and parking passes they sent out are for Fri-sun. I don't know if that is correct or if they just did that and will adjust them if it's not

It depends a lot on which regionals need Monday games. Typically the side of the bracket with less Monday games are Friday-Sunday and the side with more is Saturday-Monday.
