It’s going to be tough, I’m not sure what pitching they have left but Anderson, Ackenhausen, Hurd need to get it done. If we sweep we may have a shot at hosting a regional in the box. That being said taking one game at a time, Alabama and Ole Miss will be playing for their post season life's it won’t be a walk in the park.

I think Alabama is just about a lock - but how exciting for the tigers

I’d like to see them start Hurd or Anderson, whichever has shown more in bullpens recently. If we have to get out of an inning play matchups with Guidry and Cam, then start the next inning with Ack and see how far we can ride him. Go with Hurd or Anderson to get the save, whichever we didn’t start.

Anyone know off- hand the highest rpi to not make the tournament? Has a 29+ RPI ever been left out?

I could be wrong but for last year I believe UC Irvine was considered the big snub and I think their RPI was in the low 30s couldn’t put an exact number on it and the website has all the post season games added so it’s not the same.

LSU's stinker of a non-conference schedule doesn't work in their favor. Now I really believe the Tigers need to go at least 14-16 and win a couple of games in the conf tournament to even make a regional-- maybe even more work is needed

No shot. 13 wins with a top 35 RPI, plus defending national champs gets us in.

If we sweep we are still only 10-14 in the SEC. We can win out and still won’t host. That Ship has sailed. Win out then run the table and win SEC Tourney and probably still wouldn’t be enough?

I’d start Anderson again. His last start was a fluke. He should have been out of the inning with 1 run given up.
Follow Anderson with Hurd.

This is pretty far off.

Are you trolling? We would 100% host if we won out. I don’t think we win out tho just because it is not easy to win that many games in a row and we have yet to really figure it out completely on Sundays.

I will be satisfied with a competitive game this afternoon. Obviously we want the sweep but this LSU team is playing better now. If we can make a regional , we can do some damage.

idiot

LSU with a series win against a&m just made sure that 13-17 would be in, providing they win 4/7 down the stretch. That would likely give us 5 straight series wins and a series win over #1. You are an actual idiot on this board just like the political board. LSU isn't getting left out with a 13-17 mark and being hot at the end of the year. In fact, I feel sorry for the Regional Host with LSU as a 3 seed. Will be a brutal region if we take care of business.

Non conference stinker? Jesus woman, the SEC is brutal, thus why LSU is likely in the 20s rpi. idiot
