Why does Dallas have home field tonight? Green Bay is better.

Don't quote me on this but I think it has something to do with finishing 1st in their division

IMO we should do away with automatic playoff qualifiers in the NFL and let Goodell and a bunch of random arse bureaucrats select the best teams

Winning a division in the NFL proves almost nothing.

It means that you are better than exactly 3 of the other 31 teams in the league.

No it doesnt. You could lose every game to the other teams in the division and still win the division.

It means you did what you had to do by the rules to get a top 4 seed and at least 1 home game in the playoffs. Winning the division is every team’s goal before the season starts.

(It’s not “win the Super Bowl” because you have to get to the playoffs first to even think about the Super Bowl)

I watch tons of football - I just don’t watch NFL football.

I was just confused why Philly had a much better record than TB so I asked the question.

Now ask me a question about Major League Baseball, then we will be able to determine who the idiot is.

By the way, I was under the assumption that watching the NFL was very bad on this website.

Bunch of fricking hypocrites on this website.
