Stage 1 is underway.
You can watch the entire Tour live on MAX

Unless something extremely weird happens in these 3 weeks Tadej is going to win the Tour going away and the fight will be for the other podium spots

Tadej took a spill today and still won by almost :30
What a joke

Yeah this is gonna be the expected demolition. I cracked up when the goofy Eurosport commentator Hatch unironically acted like it was disappointing that it took Tadej an extra day to grab pink.

Long way to go but with Jonas hurting and a favorable World Championship course Tadej could be on his way to the triple crown.

I predicted Pogacar to win all 21 stages. Apparently I was wrong about that.

Other than Geraint Thomas, there's pretty much no competition for him. With injuries to so many other riders, he may get the Giro-TDF double this year. He just rode away from everyone today like it was an easy day at the office - after a spill.

Hell of an attack with 4K to go by P. Ganna. Sustaining 500-700 watts. These dudes aren’t human. Thought he was going to make it all the way.. Hell of an attempt though

Too many guys left to make it. Good attack though from Pipo

I always pull for these guys on these attacks and am always amazed how often they get reeled in by the group. All those KM's just to get swept up in the last few hundred meters.

Jonas back on the bike today. Dauphine is out but the Tour is still a possibility.

Thought Alaphilippe was going to inch out the victory today...nope.
I do wonder if he has enough in the tank still to get another Grand Tour stage victory. Everything became a complete circus around him in France both professionally and personally after his Tour and WC successes.

I think he'll keep the gas down for the next week and then follow wheels week 3 when he's up by 5+ minutes to save something for the Tour.
