The lakers can Darvin ham after 2 seasons
He went to the WCF and had 1 playoff win this season.
Willie Green is 3 years in and has exactly 2 playoff wins and keeps his job.
The pelicans are not serious about winning as long as they keep Willie s HC. Willie seems to be a solid human I just don't want him to be the HC of my team.

If the pels had LeBron James in the twilight of his career and Anthony Davis we'd do the same.

We have two perennialy injured stars. Not the same situation at all

Sorry baw. The Pelicans will be happy with a winning season and a chance to compete in the playoffs year in and year out. The sooner you accept this, the easier it'll be not get too emotionally invested in.

NIck Nurse
T. Lue
MIke B
Frank V
Adrian Griffin
Ime Udoka (I Know)
Joe Mazzulla if Boston craps out

All much more successful and far better coaches than Wille that were fired, and here we are happy the guy got us to the play-in tourney two out of 3 years

The Lakers can get pretty much any coach they want. The Pelicans can’t.

I think we are a more attractive coaching destination now. Everyone saw what this team could be.

You can’t even really be mad at it. This is just who the franchise is. They will never win a championship and I’m not sure they even really think that much about it. Focussed on keeping the lights on.

Didn’t this franchise fire two coaches in 12 months very recently?

They canned the coach that won a ship. Our guy gets to the playoffs, doesn’t win a game, and gets an extension.

Technically Willie was extended last year where he missed the playoffs entirely.

Look I think Willie has a lot of issues and we’re probably better off letting him go but both times he has us in the playoffs hes missing his best player. To top it off as good as Zion was late in the season hes not as good as lebron or KD/Booker. They just have enormously high expectations and as an organization we’re just not there yet. Its really hard to compare those teams and us.

Only 30 NBA head coaching jobs on the planet. Pelicans can get a better coach if they want to…

Neither are the Saints.

The ownership quite literally gives zero fricks.

Morning Willie to the LKer situation is nuts it’s not remotely the same. Lebron and AD called that shot.

Fax. It's a business. It's stupid to care about either of them. The Pelicans will never win a championship and that's the HONEST TRUTH ™
