I think if Atlanta moves Trae, they'd value high level volume shooting gravity over a guy like Herb. Their biggest issue is spacing and they have enough low volume shooters who no one respects....
Probably because we have no idea what it takes to build a championship team. When you see a bonafide superstar, you do everything in your power to add pieces that will take you over the hump while moving young pieces with value and potential to upgrade talent who can help you win now. The NBA wi...
If they can't trade BI, they need to be prepared to lose him for nothing. Because he'll probably look to go elsewhere knowing that we were aggressively trying to trade him....
Dyson probably won't be an impactful offensive player until his 3rd contract which is very far away....

Davis was the best player from that trade and is still the best player from that trade today. The Lakers get him for a decade+ and got a Chip and a WCF out of it so far. We burned through all those assets with very little to show for it. ...
He's playing in a team where he's the 4th or 5th option. And his numbers looks good for a 21 year old. Still think his game is going to explode once Houston moves Green....
They didn't value young talent that they knew didn't get them over the hump. They brought in good players when their value was down while continually hiring good coaches....
Drafting for need is fine. Drafting a guy who may have fit issues who if you see is at best a back up on a team with no starting caliber player at the positon is the problem....
Our situation is nowhere near comparable to Denver. They had Mozgov at the time and he was playing well. They drafted Nurkic in the first with plans of him starting and Jokic was a considered a project @19/20 years old that ended up being so good they traded Nurkic a couple.of years later. So no, no...
I'm not opposed to Edey. I'm opposed to the idea of drafting a center with the vision of him being a back up at best while we have no starting caliber guy up front. If they draft him with the vision of being a starter, I'm good with it. Otherwise go with the upside pick or trade the pick for an actu...
Sure if you think he's a starting caliber center. If not, then you're just come off desperate....
Probably because we don't have a starting center right now and there doesn't seem be a realistic one to acquire on the market. Hard to imagine drafting a backup when a starter isn't in place....
Let's see what the roster looks like by August before we start making sweeping statements like that. :lol:...
If they draft Sarr, they are going to want to give him as many minutes as possible. So there's no clear path for big minutes for Okongwu. I'm sure Capella is the preferred contract they want to get rid of but in trades, teams aren't going to want Capella outright....
We should be asking how do we land Nembhard....
Not surprised to be honest. Murray will be cheaper, could help bring back a big like Okongwu, and allows you to keep CJ since he can play defense. ...
The Pistons could be open to moving on from head coach Monty Williams. Sources tell The Athletic that owner Tom Gores will eat the rest of the money if new president of basketball operations Trajan Langdon wants to bring in a new coach.
[link=(https://x.com/theathletic/status/179...
I agree. With Zion and the uncertainty with his health from year to year, you absolutely need to come out of any major trade you make with a guy who can carry the team when the injury bug hits....
