I have no problems falling asleep. None. But I can’t sleep past 4:30 or 5, even when I’m off. Went to bed last night a little after the ballgame about 10:30 or 11 and woke up about 4. I don’t drink alcohol either. Guess I’m just getting old.

I can sleep late, but my heathen kids can't.

I'm up 0415 5 days a week and 0530 weekends.

I’ve not slept past 6 AM in nearly 12 years, since becoming a dad. I’m up at 5 AM on weekdays for school prep. Once you get so deep into that routine, you’re up that early on weekends just by force of habit.

Every morning I wake up between 3:40 and 4am.

Good for hunting and fishing.

Check the GMT, you’ll find that it’s many of the same people each day, they are typically all early risers.

This has been a recent thing for me and it started after my last overseas trip in February. I wake up at 4-ish, toss & turn for 20 minutes then get up feeling great. Maybe it is about getting old, because I have ALWAYS been a night owl. I love the extra alone time though, I get all sorts of shite done between the hours of 5:00am and 7:30am.

I have been waking up between 0430 & 0500 for work ever since the late 80's. That is my normal time now, even on days off.

Up without an alarm at 6:20 this morning.

Between our kid being born and getting up at 5 for work (sometimes 3:30 when I workout before) it took us going to a get a way in the Eastern time zone for me to sleep past 7am

I've been waking up a4 345 or 4 for work since 2014. Weekends I'll sometimes sleep until 6 or 7. I go to bed early so I'm still getting my 7 or 8 hours. After I quit drinking as much and doc put me on trt my sleep got a lot better.

That is because the ye ole prostate alarm goes off a few times during the night or your body is so accustomed to waking up at a certain time it stays in that wake cycle.

At least that is the case for me. It might be time for my doctor to give me some Flomax and ambien prescriptions.

I've given up on sleep. 4 hours is about all I can ask for. It really sucks

I can’t handle less than 7 hours of sleep more than 2 or 3 days in a row.

I start to have trouble functioning.

And even can feel physically sick.

Headache. Brain fog. Irritable.

I’m in my 30s and have two under 3. It’s been tough at times I have to go to bed early.

Welcome to getting older.
Also, you are probably going to bed earlier than when you were younger.
