I have no problems falling asleep. None. But I can’t sleep past 4:30 or 5, even when I’m off. Went to bed last night a little after the ballgame about 10:30 or 11 and woke up about 4. I don’t drink alcohol either. Guess I’m just getting old.

although I've never been able to sleep in, the older I get, the earlier I wake up.

the absolute latest I'll sleep is about 530am, and that's only if I woke up in the middle of the night and had trouble falling back asleep.

if I sleep through the night, I'm usually up by 4.

It's probably been well over 10 years I woke up after 7am (aside from vacationing in another time zone).

I’m the same way, though I wake up more along the lines of 5:00 to 6:30 no matter what. That’s my normal wall time on work days but I also wake up around then on my days off. But I started eating two 5 mg melatonin gummies at bedtime and now I can sleep in to 7:00 -7:30. This morning I even snoozed to 8:00 AM this morning.

Can't sleep past 5 AM unless I take ibuprofen before bed - which the family physician says is bad for you.

So I usually skip the ibuprofen and wake up at 5 AM.

I sleep about 3-4 hours a night. Usually with 3/4 hours of podcasts and writing in the middle. Its a side effect of medication I take and I am resigned to my fate. Prayer and or death threats appreciated.

My dogs are patient, but they will get me up when they’re ready to go outside.

I'm kinda like that. My kids are in their mid-twenties, out on their own now,
but I am up at 5-5:30 M-F, and up around 6 on weekends. Every once in awhile I will wake up at 7 am on Sunday and celebrate in my head all day for this.

I go to sleep most nights between 10:30 and 11:00. I wake up no later than 6:00.

If I stay up late (12:00 or 1:00), 75% of the time I'm awake no later than 6:30.

Might not help but a sleep mask made a huge difference for me. I’m sensitive to even a little bit of light in the morning.

I'm up at 4-5 daily and am usually in bed by 8-9 for at least 10 years.

I’d love to sleep late enough for the sun to wake me up

I only use an alarm clock (set the alarm on my watch, more correctly) if I have an early morning flight. Otherwise I wake up whenever I wake up.

Usually it’s pre-dawn but sometimes it’s later.

I wake up like an archetype of a fireman: as soon as my eyes open, I am 100% awake, no coffee needed.

I can go back to sleep if I want to, and that’s also true at any time during the day. I can go to sleep within 5-10 minutes at any point. I am crazily zen-like in control of my sleep process.

My heart rate regularly gets down to around 40 bpm during sleep at 3:00-5:00 am.

I am grateful for my sleep superpower.

Like someone else commented, I'm up about 4 on weekdays and check GMT here. Weekends it depends on how late I drink on week ends. But I cant even seem to take a nap during the day. I lie there and think about everything under the sun. Toss and turn then get up out of frustration.

Most nights I don’t sleep at all. I stay busy running my 10 international companies. I have to be up when they’re up. I’ve grown used to it. I generally take a break about 3:00 am and split a cord of wood or two just to decompress. Generally after that I hit the gym for a couple of hours the a quick 20 mile run to the LSU lakes where I keep my yak for 50-60 laps around the lake. I double up on the weekends. Got a quick trip to Dubai this afternoon in my G7. It’s kind of small but I’m about to get something a little bigger. Elon is always giving me shite about. He’s a crazy man. We’re having dinner before heading back.

OT am I doing this right?

730 is my sweet spot for wanting to wake up. Lately though I can't seem to fall asleep and I'm waking up at around 615. Ugh.

Define late. I am up at 5 am Mon-Fri and up at 7 am Sat-Sun. I just cannot sleep more than 2 hrs past my normal wake up time on weekends.

I start work (from home) at 5:30 am weekdays so I'm used to getting up at 4:45 am or so.

On the weekends if I sleep till 6 am it's rare.

Plus my dog usually comes and get's in the bed around 4 am
