I think it wold be cool as Hell to see one. I believe they are being phased out, animal cruelty and all that shite.

No. frick all that. That’s a fricked up practice.

Only way I’d go is if you guarantee me the matador gets gored and bleeds out.

I thought the bulls are the ones being cruel to humans?

A bucketlist item is the running of the bulls for me… I’ll update when that happens.

Yeah, years ago in Venezuela of all places back in the early 80's before the country went to shite.

Brought back horns and a dried piranha as souvenirs.

I'd like to see one. I had hoped to see one when we went to Portugal, but they were done for the year. In Portugal, they do not kill the bull.

It is being phased out, but there is much more to it than just a "barbaric practice." The bull always finds his querencia.

So what is it that is so barbaric? I guess I always thought it was a bull running around trying to hit a red flag.

ETA: Just did a little reading on it. Not good.

Went to the bull fights at Las Ventas in Madrid last Summer. It was an amazing experience. The history, tradition, pageantry, skill, cojones, all a once in a lifetime.
The marquis matador missed three kill shots in a row, and the crowd turned on him calling him names chanting “el maricon”
Did not see anyone get gored, but one bull did frick up one picador’s horse.
For all its savagery, those bulls are bred for fighting, and are processed for meat after.

Went to one in Cancun about 10 yrs ago. Not cool at all!! Just torturing that bull. It was not a fight by any means! I’m a farmer and a hunter and I’ve done my share of killing animals but this was stomach churning!
Make true fight. Just the bull and the matador no holds barred cage match!

You probably should look into what they do to the bull before hand to keep him from freight training the matador. Then, check into how the fight ends, if it goes to script.

Yea in Madrid 15+ years ago. I’m glad I went once but was pulling for the bull by the end. They stab the bulls causing them to lose blood and weaken before they really start getting in front of them to do the Ole part.
