They departed here on the 11th. Just packed up and hauled arse after weeks of partying like it was 1999. Left hulls and exoskeleton stuff everywhere.

There are several different species of the annual cicadas, too. The ones that come out in the dead of Summer are collectively called Dog Day Cicadas. I'm not sure what the earliest ones are called.
