Do you keep the ashes of your pets in the house, or do you spread them somewhere?

What do you do with Felix and Fido? Do you leave their ashes on your mantle, take them to Tiger Stadium to spread, or something else?

I don't spend money on a cremation. I bury them. I live in the country with access to a backhoe so a hole is dug and they are pushed in and covered.

Let the vet keep them, at the end of the day they’re animals and dead.

At this point they’re still in my house… I want to spread my black labs ashes in her favorite hunting spot….

That dog use to wait in the boat to leave for the blind while we drank coffee in the camp. She couldn’t wait, best dog ever.

You get your dog cremated? You have a back yard?

I’ve got the ashes of my german shepherd in my bedroom next to my favorite framed picture of him. That’s where he used to love hanging out

I was going to bury my dog at Tiger stadium. I started digging a hole at the 50 yd line, but I left at the half way point

Force of habit I guess

I bury mine in the old Indian cemetery back in the woods. They always come back. Different.

I got a paw print impression of my only dog. I'm not sure where it is. I don't like it, because when it was in my closet, it just reminded me of how bad of a dog dad I was when it mattered at the end.

Lost my girl Saturday
She will be spread at the pet memorial garden in NO
(This is what the local emergency vet does, there are options to get their ashes back)
