Lake Charles: cowboys, club FX in Vinton (lots of Texas girls drove over due to 18 yo drinking age). Can’t remember the name of the club down the road from the Lowe’s/Academy area off hwy 14 (not Chaser’s, but I think in the same building).

Lafayette: Mako’s, the outer limits (duson/mire off exit 92)

Baton Rouge: the shelter, viper room (near Gardere)

I didn’t go to ‘clubs’ because they were full of poors making $42k acting like they were rich. Went out to bars and would like to forget about that time period. It was fun but pretty much don’t care about it now.

Holy shite! I had forgotten about those guys.

Used to be a coffeehouse in an old warehouse near where Minute Maid is now. We would see them rolling around near there late at night when we'd stop by there after going out to the clubs.

Also, there was a lot across from the coffeehouse where they stored all the Ford Taurus police cars while they were filming RoboCop 2 downtown. Ah the memories...

Clubs were a hassle. My bud would disappear within an hour and I'd be without my ride.

The memories are probably better than the actual experience.

Damn man. Not for me. I had more fun with members of the opposite sex in those days than anytime since. I escaped nearly STD free and karma should have caught to with me long ago.

The worse thing I got was a nasty case of mono from making out with an Asian girl at deja Vu in New Orleans.

Being a recent college grad in Birmingham around 2010, the move had to be Innisfree > iCantina food truck > Nana Funks. One of those if you know you know kind of things. Wouldn’t step foot in either establishment as a 35 year old now though.

Owlfan what was better; two pesos or the other one who put them out of business?

I liked both at 4am for a 99 cent breakfast burrito. That got me sober enough to go with the next day

the dark corners smelled like NOLA

I would expect most of yall's clubbing experience even in Houston is such a very different experience from mine because. I worked in a club and was on the DJ side not the service side

I didn't go clubbing even my stories were at work and those of other clubs were when I was hanging out with employees getting free drinks.

But I saw a lot... a whole lot

I got stories.. skinny dipping at the Williams Tower pond,, not the fountain ,
the ponds behind them

athletes /celebs misbehaving.. Mike Scott pee'd next to me ,, broke up a few fights weather bunnies whoring

Jim Kelly sucker punched me cause we were dating the same dancer,,dancer not stripper

I inspired Billy Gibbons while working on the Eliminator album

boss used to work at Studio 54.. he has stories

helped break Wham!!! UK in the States..

and the girls. ..... the girls and a few older women

losing my virginity I was a late bloomer cause of the smallish pecker

second time in my life I did the sex was a threesome with 2 MensClub strippers

secret
the hot ones worked the lunch shift

saw a lot of people fall into addiction..its not a glamorous lifestyle..That why I got out when I was done having fun

Power Tools was before I moved to Houston, but that venue was several different clubs in the 2010s, mainly for after hours. Pretty wild places for sure, but fun could definitely be had.

Fat Harry's, Pyrtania Bar, Sovreign Pub, Delachaise, Red Maple, Favela, Snug Harbor, Apple Barrel, Cafe Negril. I don't live in town anymore so I take people to the Ponchartrain rooftop becuase it's a good view and not in the quarter.

I’m actually surprised that no one has admitted to being a crackhead and hanging out at Escapades in Fat City.
