Nothing like stumbling out of one of those fine establishments as the sun rises, sweaty with jaws clenched, and seeing a line of people waiting to get in

I've got a few cassettes made by Jo Edd of WW3 (" My house is your house and your house is mine!") on a Saturday night that I need to convert to digital one of these days.

Eta, nobody mentioned Blue Crystal or Club Bedrock?

Eta 2: Andy Capps. I got in there many times wayyyy before I was 18, lol!

Cowboys (now rocking rodeo) in bossier back in the 80's. Nickel beer night on Tuesdays. Bo diddly played there one night. Had dinner with him before he went on. Fun guy and he played three hours straight without a break.

Laffy circa 1987ish? King Fish?? I was an Avoyelles Parish baw but hanging out down there with friends. Plenty of top shelf ecstasy, blow, acid etc. I don't think the place even sold alcohol, every body was rolling on something and brought ice chests if they wanted beer. Lots of ice water. Good times :)

ETA- Kyrls in Mansura, Sheps in Cottonport, the VFW in Marksville lol
Canal Bank-French Settlement La circa early 90s. Blind River bar, Spanish Lake Prairieville (alligator bar?) Pussycat Leesville/ Ft. Polk La circa 1984-87, Brunets Flannery rd mid 2000s, Miss G's Florida behind McDonalds Tire. Schmackwaters ? Choctaw at Sherwood area? Late 80s?

The Lighthouse Alexandria La, early to mid and late 80s.

No that was the other one. I think The entrance was like in the middle of the block on the left coming from canal on bourbon.

Not only a club because they had other events there. But you had The Lowes State Palace Theater right on Canal near Bourbon

Not really clubs more like bars. Some places off the top of my head that I will always remember and have a warm place in my heart ITZ, doghouse, patties, fourth street live, omalleys, helenback, tap works, red door, green parrot, Dante’s, sloppy joes I’m missing some I’m sure

I will go to any one of these if in in the area no matter my age

90's early to mid 2000's.

Fun. People seemed to have their heads screwed on straight. The music we listened to was some of the best which includes the 80's. People seemed to be based and loved the country they lived in. Of course there were fights, but people came together unlike today. It's so fricked up today, the younger generation does not know if they are coming or going.

You asked. And I believe that is the truth.

We actually took our date or girlfriend to eat at a restaurant, movies, or the bowling alley without any problems. The most fun was the drive there and acting like you could sing along with what was playing on the radio. She loved that.

It was just honest fun. I'd go back to 1998 in a heartbeat.

No doubt in my mind.

Lafayette= Strip, GCS, and Desperados. I lived in Desperados because I knew the manager. Got in for free, drinks for free, and girls were free. Even got coke for free.

I dated a stripper that worked there in 2005-ish. An eventful 4 months.

I was in the Army from 18-22 so didn't go to any clubs here until I came back home for good. By then, it was Graham Central Station, Cowboy's, and Poet's all in Lafayette.
