I didnt go yest nor this morn.. beautiful morns, but its always worst time of yr at my camp between tylertown n mccomb. Just dead n slow, every yr.

2 bobcats dead. Shot momma and the baby ran off but made the mistake of coming back.

I find mid December is worse which is typically a few weeks before the rut, but this year I’ve been seeing more activity in general regardless of month or moon. Started hunting mostly in the woods with a climber. Found a few good trails off of some hardwoods/creek bottoms. Only time I’ll be a box now is if my son is with me.

Christmas hunting pressure pushes them back into the nocturnal mode....my opinion. Late Jan early Feb I normally see a more normal feeding pattern return....but still very slow.
