The Great Silence Death Rides a Horse
Spaghetti Westerns are my preferred westerns and I went on a huge binge last summer. Death Rides a Horse, I loved! Especially as a Lee Van Cliff fan this was great. The Great Silence..........wasn't for me. I discovered I'm not a fan of...
Man! You are in for a treat.
A fistful or dollars For a few dollars more The good, the bad, and the ugly
Amazing films. The second is my favorite of the series, especially the end.
Quick and the dead
Very underrated, especially if you are a fan of Sam Rai...

Rank the Dirty Harry films

So having a new born has led to some fun late night viewings. I recently finished the Dirty Harry films for the first time, as a huge Clint Eastwood fan most of them were a fun watch. What would be your rankings of the films? I settled on: 5. The Enforcer 4. Dead Pool 3/2 are interchangeabl...
1. Silverado 2. For a Few Dollars More 3. Old Henry...
I wish this would have happened to Brooks Koepka or Patrick Reed instead of Scottie, because those dudes would be mayor of Louisville by now. ...
Grannies or is it called Granny Mobile, anyway it is freaking hilarious! Muffin is my favorite. ...
My answer is the same as when I actually was shopping around for masters programs..........I will go to whichever school pays for my degree and offers me an assistantship. Georgia Southern (not SEC) paid more and gave me way more opportunities than LSU or South Carolina. I would do it again in a...
Also, an interesting real life tidbit on Jack Rackham. Jack is definitely my favorite on the show and it's lead me down a deep dive of all things Pirate and especially Jack. I'm reading a great book called, Under The Black Flag. Jack (as quartermaster) actually challenged Vane about attacking a M...
I binged the whole series a few weeks ago and should have kept better notes to discuss specific episodes rather than plot points. However, on this one.......I had picked up on some of the subtle clues (which I think are easier to pick up on when you are watching continuously) and was not complete...

re: Could we see a return of westerns?

I think we can still get smaller/indie Westerns like, Old Henry that came out in 2019, which is fantastic if you haven't seen it. Not only is it the best western I've seen in years it is probably in my top 5. ...
I'm also now reading Treasure Island because of Black Sails. My wife says that I am in my pirate era ...
Dufresne is such a douche. I already stated it but his rapid advancement really pisses me off. Goes from a coward/nerd/no experience bookkeeper to basically in control of the crew in a matter of days/weeks. Nah.
1000% It's amazing how quickly the crew jumped to follow him....
Will do! I apologize for misreading the current watch. ...
Oh yes, Jack by the end is my favorite in the series! What development. ...
SPOILERS for beginning of Season 2....... lets discuss Ned Lowe. I loved the fact that he seemed to be the big bad of the season and then Vane takes care of business  It was this moment when Vane won me over as I didn't care for him in season 1....
Do you know anyone that is against the new conceal carry law?
Law Enforcement, AKA agents of the state. ...
If you are just looking for a peaceful get a way with the family, then Port St. Joe is well worth it. There is a cool little downtown area with shops, resturants etc. St. George is a short drive away and has more of a beach area. We did this with the family a few summers ago and it was well wort...
I was in the 5th grade when this film came out and my dad checked me out of school early to go see it. So I will always have a soft spot for the film. While I loved (and still do) the original trilogy, I didn't really have a favorite character until this film and I saw a young Obi-Wan, who to this d...

Yet another useless government agency. They are a complete waste of air and money. Thanks Bush!...
