I'll start with Game 1 of the 2021 NBA Finals. [i]In 1968, the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns both entered the NBA. Each finishing at the bottom of their respective conferences, they had a coin flip to determine who would win the #1 overall pick. The Bucks won, selecting Lew Alcindor #1, later ...
If only Alleva had the guts to say this concerning Bama's 2011 title*....
Best in franchise history and definitely the best SB champion since the 2013 Seahawks....
They were the runaway favorites going into the 2003 playoffs and probably wouldn’t have even been pushed to 6 in any series had Webber not torn his meniscus....
Assuming the Kings still win Game 5 and sweep the Nets, that’s a 16-3 playoff run (including 8-0 on the road). They would’ve soundly beaten a Lakers team that was 22-2 in the playoffs going back to 2001. I’d rank them higher than most NBA champions....
I respectfully disagree. I'd take the Bulls easily. The Cavs and Rockets teams the Warriors beat were more physical & better in isolation, so they wouldn't be punched in the mouth by the Bulls physicality & tenacity....
UConn is about to win their 12th consecutive tournament game by double digits. It has to be them....

The Big 10 sold their basketball soul to get Kenyon Martin hurt in 2000....
For the Pelicans: -CP3 meniscus 2010 -Cousins Achilles 2018 Not for the Pelicans -Kinda cheating here, since it's only one injury, but Chris Webber's 2003 meniscus injury. The Kings were poised for a championship run where they never even faced a Game 7....
Duke with the most undeserved win I've seen in quite some time....
There’s a good change the B1G would have a goose-egg in the win column if not for this: https://youtu.be/5i6_j2jzLlc?si=uAK5kB62EWaQXUQi...
Also, [link=(https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/more-sports/nevada-wolfpack---wac-champions/22955028/)]here's[/link] the Boise-Nevada thread....
Im tempted to put mizzou losing to OU in that big 12 title game and OSU losing to Iowa state up there as well.
Disagree. Mizzou wasn't expected to beat OU and had already lost to them earlier in the season. OSU's loss is close, but beating LSU would've been a tall order. They wou...
UConn is in the next category. The same category that FSU, Miami, Florida, etc. are in CFB....
As many of you may know, Boise State in 2010 suffered one of the most devastating losses in CFB history when they lost at #19 Nevada in 2010. For a refresher of the context, Boise State was in the top 5 of both major polls in the preseason, unheard of for any mid-major. They returned most of the sta...
You're correct. Gonzaga wouldn't have gotten bailed out against Samford like Kansas was. Also, the NCAA was probably going ballistic behind closed doors when Oakland upset Kentucky....
I should've been more specific. What I mean is them winning their first title....
I think it's obvious that the NCAA wants UConn, UNC, and Duke to win their respective regions. They're all top-tier programs with 5+ national titles to their name, and if the NCAA loves anything, it's the rich getting richer. But what about the Midwest? We have Purdue vs. Gonzaga and Tennessee vs...
The refs and basketball gods doing whatever they can to get Duke the easier matchup....
