Insurance situation has to be at least part of the explanation here, right?
Very much so, and balloon loans are hitting their due dates and will likely be doubling their current rates at refi time. Properties like these are hitting the market more frequently than the past. ...
hat part seems suspect to me but waiting on broker to provide disclosures, rent rolls, and other details before making an assessment.
The devil is in the details on these larger units.
Step one check battery voltage. No weak battery allowed. Step two check grounds.
Agree with this, a weak battery can make electronics do silly things. I just finished trouble shooting my lawnmowers electrical system and pto switch because I couldnt get it to engage consistently....

It's a shame that you can't find people to complete simple labor tasks for pay anymore. Most won't even quote jobs at a "don't want it" price, they just refuse the work completely. Leaving a lot of money on the table for simple tasks. ...

re: Window Tint

Limo tint is too dark for 99% of drivers. Cold Mornings suck when you have to roll down your windows to see your side mirrors as well. A light tint on the front window greatly reduces the glare and star vision at night though, very helpful for night clarity. ...
Anyone who knows and/or hunted with politicians or lawmen know good and well that many of them are into these types of things often. Abuse of power and position is rampant. We all know it, most have seen it first hand, but we all just let it ride. What likely happened here was he ticked off the ...

You can go to Manuel Builders and trick out a 2000sqft house for about 155sqft. Or you can hire a designer, decorator, and constructor for about 155-200sqft. From Alexandria to LC to BR basically. Those are under roofline prices, not including land, sitework, and utilities outside of the building la...

Long story short there has been extensive research on the Heartgard/Ivermectin breakthroughs. The breakthroughs are much too common to consider it as an effective med for heartworm prevention. Moxidectin is now the most current and effective active ingredient in effective heartworm preventatives. Mo...
It's a home improvement finance company. Give them a call and find out if they'll work directly with you or do you have to have a builder estimate and contract to get funding. Most large builders have a finance company like greensky to do work with. ...
On average, you will make more in an S&P 500 index fund and can use those earnings to pay the debt.
This is mostly where my train of thought is. I worked a big turnaround one time, made a pile of money and took some of it and paid off my truck and my student loan. About $35k combi...

I don't have an exact dollar amount, but one of the most interesting things I've seen done was to give the child a monthly lump sum for all things outside of normal food, shelter, and clothes. The dollar amount was determined using a factor off of his GPA. The higher his GPA the higher the amount of...

See below, He hit the nail on the head. Low cash reserves with known needed improvements is risky. 1 year lease on a highly valuable property is weak. Commercial banker here - sell it if it’s that kind of life changing money to you. A one year lease is a short fuse and a lot can change between...
In your experience what sort of questions should I be asking before I pursue this?
Basic things like underground ROW/utilities/pipelines that may limit development, surface rights, title search, etc. After that I wouldn't be overly worried about it. Likely someone who bought it...
