It’s a cool venue. The altitude makes simple tasks like climbing a couple hundred steps difficult but more in a WTF way than exhausting. Getting out of there was a disaster. There is a designated Uber pickup area that is maybe a 20 minute walk once you leave. Better to arrange transportation ahead ...

Agree. 14 to cheap out. 12 correct and 10 if you want the breaker to protect the cord.
No way the generator has a NEMA 6-20R. That would just be weird. Probably has a 120v 5-20R which...

6-20p implies 240v w/o neutral.
It seems odd that such an obscure receptacle would be on a generator. I could be wrong or this could be a typo/misidentification.
Cord will likely need to cross to L14-30p or similar just leaving the neutral blank.
Please verify plugs and receptacles.

Depends what leads were used on the gfi. Hit the test button on your main gfi outlet. If the outlet you want to use shuts off, then it is also GFI protected.
This is the case with anything used outdoors or in a kitchen or bathroom. Certain A/C units and other pumps/motors are exceptions but they r...

Make city replace with correct grass. Not sure about LA but in TX, cities and utilities have a duty to repair easements to pervious condition under most circumstances.
If the area is very sunny, the bermuda will start taking over your SA. If the area is mostly shady, your SA will reclaim the bermud...

They have those snail pellets at all big box stores. They work ok for me. Less snails and no plant harm so far. Snails hide during the day but they aren’t hard to find. Look under pots and under container lips. Might be in soil if there is space between the soil and the pot. ...
