I think we led Mississippi 9-0 a couple years back and lost 10-9 missing the sweep. We have not defeated the Rebels at home since 2017 (losing the past two). Prior to that, we had defeated them in every home series since Ronald Reagan's first term....

That was a successful inning. Again, we should try to score two runs every inning. If we combine this with not allowing runs, LSU will be tough to beat. Today shows that: 8-0 after four innings. This needs to be a consistent strategy....

I remember in 98 when Witten and Harris back to back tripled for LSU and didn't score! Triple, wild pitch but out at home, then triple again, then K K. Game in Gainesville...must have been game two becasue that was back when FSN only showed one SEC game a week on TV....

Nichols pitch count is at a point where one rally would chase him, but we are doing our normal "Sunday" routine in allow mediocre pitching to string 5-6 innings without hard contact....

THat walk was bad. ANother AB up 0-2 and Ack cannot get a swing and miss. No movement to get a single chase.
Just try and hold Mississippi to one here. SHould not matter...LSU should be able to score more. But, we have said that all season in game threes....
