Not caring about stars just pointing out Raymond has been bringing in more 3 and low 4 stars at LSU and UF than high 4 stars and 5 stars. I wasn’t saying they weren’t quality players. I was replying to the OP saying we were getting Baron to move Shand and whoever inside. Coaches obviously haven’t thought that was a good idea so far. Not sure why I got all the downvotes. ...

If we are taking Baron because we are moving those guys inside then we are in serious trouble. Obviously the coaches even this week thought those guys weren’t interior quality. I’m hoping we land Suggs. ...

Everyone is downvoting you, but you are 100% correct. We have 2nd/3rd strings guys running 1st string and our depth would be 3rd string at best any playoff caliber program.

It makes perfect sense. You call the player or agents/coaches. Get a little intel or feel out the player with some conversation of where they are in this process. Then quickly decide if you want to move forward. LSU did this with D. Ricks and looks like they have done the same with him.
