VC overseas is my dream watch.
The new ones are better. They have the date window at 3. Mine has that eccentrically located date window between 4 and 5 that I've always held against it (there is a pic of it somewhere in this thread). The bracelet is cool - the links resemble the Malt...
Amybody got any thoughts or other suggestions?
I have a thing for dual time zone watches and GMT watches and have several - mostly GMT Master II's of recent vintage, but a few others as well including IWC and the Nomos you see above. I would give the Longines Spirit Zulu time a l...

Have you seen that new (at least I think it's new) Royal Oak Jumbo Extra Thin with the grainy textured blue dial in 18K WG? It is a real stunner...and only 82K USD lol. I missed the boat about 10-15 years ago on RO's. Probably shoulda bought one instead of the white dial VC Overseas I bought. ...
additional 10+ yards
That's just trying to make a situation sound worse. Think about how long in time it takes a car (or even a person) to move 10 yards...almost nothing. This part is silly and just another example of trying to use language to make a mountain out of a molehill. Hell,...

Nomos Zurich World Time Nachtblau - perhaps the least legible watch that I own, but interesting nonetheless. ...
Damn I remember all of that like it was yesterday. Good times. ...
Why would a cop jump on a car turning into a golf course? Even if this wasn’t someone in a marked courtesy car, jumping on the car in a non emergency situation is just overly dramatic and stupid. Doubling down with an assault charge isn’t going to go over very well.
I regret that I...
Was just browsing Chrono24 and they offer in house authentication now.
I bought a Grand Seiko SBGY007 Omiwatari last fall from a dealer on Chrono24 and got a really good price for a near mint full set. Used the suggest a price button to negotiate. Prices are generally high o...
Game 5 was prime Joker - destroyed the DPOY and number one defense in the league. They had no answer, and it wasn't that they were playing bad defenst. He was just unguardable last night, around the basket, from distance, his passing and played solid defense as well. It was a freaking clinic. ...
Fun fact before NAFTA, some of those Fruit of the Loom drawers were made right here in Louisiana.
I believe Port Barre had a FOTL factory - seems like I remember that traveling 190 to and from LSU as a college kid and into my adult years. ...
Hard to believe the little red clay dirt towns of Lisbon, Hico, Summerfield Bernice and Summerfield tucked in the little triangle where Claiborne, Union and Lincoln parishes come together, produced Glynn Saulters ('68 olympic gold medalist), Willis Reed, Benny Anders and Karl Malone. Pretty remarkab...

That's an Erika's Original Marine Nationale strap on that Aevig? That case/bezel/hand combo calls to mind the 62MAS family of divers. ...
Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton
Damn I love a skeleton. The Santos de Cartier skeleton has recently piqued my interest, particularly the ADLC version on the dark gray matte gator strap. So many watches, so little time. ...

Owes its heritage to Steve McQueen Expl II 1655, but with an unmistakably Tudor stamp. Great watch you have there. I wonder if future iterations will use the new BB58 GMT case to slim it down a bit? ...

My dad was a country doctor - literally could do it all - deliver babies, take out your gallbladder or appendix, you name it, but my siblings and I used to joke that to get medical attention in our house you had to have an open arterial bleeder and it had to be above the neck. My older brother l...
