re: Do you drink to celebrate or drink to forget?

Usually to celebrate. Sometimes to numb/chill out when I've had a long day. Never because I'm sad....

Eventually I would bet there will be ETFs that include some staking yield, but undoubtedly some difficult regulatory hurdles to clear for that....

In a single week there's been two bills that stump everyone I talk to about them online or in person, the hemp THC ban, and this. It's not often I hear both democrats and republicans agreeing on anything recently, but these two things have been a resounding wtf from everyone.

Mid city seems to have avoided the worst of it. We had a couple of big gusts and sideways rain but nothing butthole-puckering. Skies were green and tons of lightning and thunder though...
re: What are your hobbies
Posted by Hulkklogan on 5/12/24 at 6:03 pm
Most of my time goes to work, kids, and a side gig. But, when I do find myself with some free time, I usually play video games.
I recently started making mead. Pretty fun little hobby that doesn't require tons of time and effort.
I've made a concerted effort to take better care of my yard ...

I used to tease my dad about it, because he has 4 kids and he'd roll through all 4 plus the dogs when he's mad
Now I do that and I only have 2 ...
re: Do you legitimately enjoy your job?

No. I hate the work I do, actually.
But it pays well, I have tons of leeway and flexibility as long as my jobs getting done which means a great work/life balance, a great management structure, and my teammates are good people.
Every time I think about leaving it changing roles I stick around ...

I have two kids, 5 and 2. They're 3.5 years apart.
In my experience, the second time around dealing with all of the things that a baby and young toddler do/go through is much easier because 1) you have a frame of reference and experience to know how to deal with things and how long they last and...
