My grandfather was part of the first wave on Omaha and my dad has some pretty neat things as a result. Get folding car seat dollies from Amazon. Look for the ones that have big rollerblade type wheels. Easily haul the kids through the airport in their seats. Gate check the seats and they’ll be ready for you to use as soon as you deplane. ...
The South needed a Sherman.
They had one, but never used him for that purpose. At the outset of the war he advocated for a fast and brutal black flag campaign on the north before they could gather an effective army. However, at the time he was a weird/dorky professor at VMI and not...

I’m not sure that there is anything g left in Colorado that is under the radar… If you like the 14er idea but Elbert/massive look like too much, Sherman is close to FairPlay and may be the easiest 14er. The Lincoln group and quandary are also close by. I didn’t see fishing in your post, plent...
Okay so our trip is May 21-28th so is that late enough where waterproof shoes are not necessary as often as early spring?
Not really. For RMNP I’d say early May is 100% likelihood of being necessary. Late May is 75-90% likely. Hell the vast majority of my may travel in that park ha...
always questioned the idea of waterproof hiking shoes. I’m generally of the thought that you shouldn’t use waterproof footwear when you don’t need it…but may in Colorado is where you are pretty likely to want it. That’s prime mud season where there is still lots of snow up high that is melting out. Stuff around town might be fine, but stuff higher up in...
one of my college roommates came from nothing and retired in his early 30s. Started at space-x out of school when most people hadn't heard of them. Sign on bonus was in (at the time) worthless stock. There's apparently a video of him rappelling off of a rocket (or significant piece of one) that is n...
