re: Anybody play Heroes of Might and Magic?
Posted by skrayper on 5/17/24 at 1:06 pm
I played the second one a ton as a kid, remembered completing the campaign too.
Tried it as an adult and I sure as heck don't remember it being as tough as it is....
Vandy dishing out arse whoopins right and left.
Vandy was a literal TERROR back in the day.
They'd be the #1 program in the SEC if they had managed to maintain that (which, of course, would be impossible considering admission requirements)....

Generally speaking, didn't the best westerns NOT include the "generic Indian villain"?
ghostbusters afterlife. It was fantastic
Yeah, but that had another movie (Ghostbusters 2), several cartoons, and an aborted reboot before Afterlife.
Top Gun is the closest analogy....

Terrible movie. Not once did we wear his iconic uniform.
They should have done this a long time ago. Not so much now. I’ll never understand waiting almost 30 years for a sequel.
Aside from Top Gun: Maverick, I'm having a hard time thinking of a sequel that far apart from the original that turned out well....

Yeah, I never understood the rules against a wager like that, though I suppose the rules are just blanket rules against gambling in general.
It's not like they were betting that they would LO...

You're not in the South.
You're not really in the North either.
You're just sort of... there....
1992 Bama has the best defense in the last 50 years?
While I would disagree with that assessment, I do recall that the team ended up with 4 first team All-Americans over the 1992 and 1993 seasons, and IIRC all but one of those starters was either first team or second team All-SEC.

To get 189 yards against Alabama, Fournette would have had to carry it 119 times.
I like the "number of carries" game. This is fun....
