I remember it like it was yesterday. I was on an oil platform with 5 Ohio State fans. They were talking mad shite when they went up 14. It was glorious watching Matt Flynn and the boys slowly eat their souls.

I was in the dome for this. The SEC chant as time was dwindling was glorious!

Only could get two tickets for this one. My oldest daughter and I went. Absolutely amazing night. 2003 was better because it had been so long since a natty but what a memorable night in the dome. Think it was 10-0 very quickly if memory serves. We were kinda worried for a while.

I believe that was the game that made them all realize that a great gap had opened between the SEC and the rest of college football. Before that it was a couple of dynastic teams and a Saban championship in 2003. When LSU completely dominated Ohio State it was an oh shite moment.

Great LSU alumni tailgate with band next to the Sheraton I believe. Kicked Buckeyes’ butt and checked into Hotel Intercontinental at like 4am when all the Buckeye fans were checking out to bang this chick I was dating

Out scored them 38-7 after a 10-0 deficit. Amazing season. Love that blocked FG.

Was there in the upperdeck. The Wizard called a helluva game. RJF was a damn monster after being suspended the whole regular season. I recall Harry Coleman blowing somebody up too at some point.

Seeing the amount of people faceplant as they rush to get in line for student tickets at the gate was hilarious. I ended up getting front row but I probably could have sat a few more rows up.

If we hadn't backed into that, Saban would be here and we would be working on about NC #10.

FALSE

Saban was announced the same day Jamarcus Russell blew out Notre Dame in the dome the prior season. I think what you mean is if Les Miles had flamed out after the 2005 loss to Tennessee or had blown an extra game or two in 2006, then maybe you are correct.

I could not watch it. I was at Madrid and the time difference made it like 2 a.m. kick off time. I remember first thing when I woke up was to rush to a computer to log in to USA Today. What a pleasant surprise it was.
