My group was not very impressed with the food on our visit. Like others have said, we got lured into the buffet. I think ordering off of the menu would have resulted in better quality food. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there.

Their food looks way better in their social media pictures than it actually tastes. It’s not bad per say but why people drive out of their way to eat there in Bfe is beyond me.

Their marketing team is much better than the cooking team.

Cracklin' Mac & Cheese and fried mushrooms were very good.

Don't get the Crab Stack. I've never tasted etouffee that salty in my life! We had to return it, and I never return food.

Didn’t want to poo-poo the OP anniversary date, in hopes they had a blast. My 75 year old mother brought 3 younger employees on a 2 hour trip from their home for an experience based on hype….. she blamed too many apps for disappointment on entrees. I believe she was being nice.

Is what it is….. but media “hype” is better than the product. I hate it. Want hype for local businesses to shortchange the actual food &/or dining experience

Take a detour and hit up Cafe Josephine, 10x better than LBC.

It's actually Bayou Fusilier which runs into Teche, but I thought that was just a muddy drainage ditch.

I like Soileau's in Opelousas also

I had lunch there once when I was in town for a funeral. I found it disappointing.
