I've been attending LSU games for 64 years now, and I never really cared if they did or didn't bring Mike into the Stadium. Even as a kid, it didn't exactly move the needle for me. I care even less about it now.

People who want this only care about themselves. You don’t care about the animal. You just want to sit your drunk arse in the stands, look out over your beer belly, point and go, “looky! A tigah! Derp derp!!”

He literally lives next to the stadium and that’s not enough for you lol how lazy can a person be? Smh

Well I talked to Mike and he said he wants to ride around in Tiger Stadium and that all of you who are worried about him should stop bitching.

This has been discussed to death. Just stop it. The doctors and trainers say its too much stress on mike. Now forget it

Have you ever spent any time around a cat? They hate loud noises and being fricked with. I bet big cats are even worse.

I think its good enough we have the most badass live mascot living across the street from the stadium. My kid loves to go look at him on gamedays as thousands others do. I vote to leave him in his home.

Gotta be honest, proud of the rant here.

It was a cool tradition at the time, but common sense says it is not a great situation for the tiger.

The two longest tenured and oldest Mikes both were regulars in the stadium and Mike IV traveled to away games, even road basketball games. They also love to leave out the fact that Mike wasn’t forced into the mobile cage, if he didn’t feel like going in he was left in his habitat. So this excuse about the Tigers health isn’t based on actual science, it’s more like snowflake theory.

Memphis has a Tiger in a cage that they drive around the field before games still to this day. I never understood why we gave in and stopped

I think they should take it one step further and feed him people that do burnouts and block traffic during contra flow

There’s absolutely no reason to put Mike through that trauma.

Imagine the fear he would experience being hauled in a cage into a stadium with 100,000 screaming idiots.

He’s fine right where he is!
