Had UPC, made claim for roof repairs after Ida. UPC covered all obligations. Told my agent to shop before renewing because word was that they went bankrupt... Shopped in November and matched (actually $100 Cheaper) previous UPC policy and 2% deductible with Sagesure Insurance.

this is because our ahole politicians allow for these companies to come in the state and allows them to price lower than they can afford to pay out when it comes to claims. Youre not losing money, your paying back the money you saved being a cheap mfer in the past.

Had UPC, only insurance to be found was Citizens. $9300 a year. House in Metairie, 1/2 block from the lake.
