I had friends in The Cottages c. 2012. The place was very nice, especially with the giant clubhouse and pool at the end. That place could have printed money by staying exclusive to students.

There was a drive-by, shooting in the parking lot of The Cottages that killed a Southern University student and wounded several others several years ago.

I'm all about personal responsibility, but street lights prevent a lot of these types of incidents. With the taxes people already pay, streetlights should be everywhere on busy roads.

It’s because they were falling apart 5 years after they were built. I know of several students that had to sue them for mold growth. (It ruined all of their clothes)

Lights also scare some cockroach criminals away.

I lived there around that time and it was awesome. Use to have a lot of fun fishing there and hitting up the pool. It looks like a shanty town now.

They threw those things up seemingly over night and they fell apart just as quick.

I did as well. The pool was awesome when it first opened up. What a time to be alive.

Do they have sidewalks on Ben Hur now? When I went they had them in front of the complexes and to the bus stop but you were on your own for a large part of the road
