The AC-130 Spectre gunship is my favorite. Bailed us out multiple times in NE Afghanistan during route clearance missions. The best feeling ever in the world was knowing even though my unit took enemy fire from a fighting position that we couldn’t see where they were at, air superiority always prevailed.
Hoooah!!!!

The TBD Devastator, with the early war roundels and fin flash has always been my favorite.

I have several favorites including a few that have already been posted.
For me, it’s the F-117 Nighthawk. I actually work as a “nighthawk” and have this photo framed and hanging up above my desk.
It was also my favorite computer game and flight simulator in the early to mid 90’s as a kid.

I don’t much about planes, but this guy’s breakdown makes me say the F-15 is my favorite.

VA-12 A-7 squadron was called the Flying Ubangis. Navy made them change name to Clinchers to be PC.

For me, it’s always been the B1. Beautiful plane.

F104 Starfighter… Can’t turn for shite, can’t land on a carrier, can’t slow speed fight, but it’s fast - and it attracted hot chicks like “Jeannie” to Major Nelson…
