Not sure how a boot to the chest from Doku doesn’t result in a pen. VAR makes no sense to me (or anyone I guess)

I left for my haircut after we went up 1-0. By the time I hit the elevator, and walked 70 meters, we'd gone up 3-0. I'm not sure if their defense is really that bad (they seemed to be,) or if it's a Champions League level team playing in Europa.
