Would definitely be cool to see if you are flying at night.

Try living in an area where the only option for years was AT&T Basic 3 (that's a whopping 3 mbps up and 1 down)... it will make you appreciate what Starlink has done.

I appreciated it when we moved. It did everything I needed it to do..We had no other option besides Hughsnet and Viasat which have terrible reviews. I couldn’t imagine trying to stream at 3 mbps.

Were you able to sell your Starlink equipment? My only hesitation has been if something better comes along (along with waiting for it to get to my area)

I haven’t tried yet, but I really need to. It’s just been in my garage.

They launch so many sats that there is an occasional dud. Here's one they launched in August that didn't function so they had it return and burn up.

I have been thinking about this since reading this thread…and I think this is revolutionary! The major problems with hurricane Katrina was that we couldn’t communicate with the affected area for weeks at a time. This technology would have solved that problem. If you have power and your equipment doesn’t get wrecked, you should always have communications!

The Elon hate simply because he bought Twitter and let the orange back on is pretty childish.

Personally, while I appreciate the Twitter thing, not a big fan of a network of surveillance satellites surrounding the entire earth.

I’ve seen them. Pretty neat

If he was a real genius he would them in formation spelling something. Or maybe like a big penis moving across the sky. But maybe That’s the 13 year old genius

Yes, I have seen them in the sky and I use the service for my boat. Fishin 100+ miles offshore and still being able to watch college football is pretty awesome.
