Someone has a VERY limited understanding of the Levant in the first half of the 20th century.

The Jews living in the area (most of whom were NOT yet Europeans at that time) were content to live alongside their Arab/Palestinian neighbors, until those neighbors tried to exterminate them, with the help of most of the Arab Mideast.
