I love walking and feel better physically and mentally when getting 10k or more steps.

I average over 10k steps until this year. Broken leg earlier and now a broken foot have me sidelined for 5 months crutches. Can't wait until I can get them numbers up again.

Anyone ise a weighted backpack or vest. I normally put about 15 lbs of books in a backpack a few times a week.

Yes, I ruck 2-3 times a week. 40lbs or if I’m feeling froggy I’ll put 50lbs in. I’ve almost quit running completely, I walk, ruck or run bleachers. Bleachers are the best bang for your buck IMO.

When my gym was closed and relocating, I was walking 2 miles a day with a 80# sandbag and 2 miles empty. I need to get back to doing it again. I worked up a hell of a sweat at a nice steady pace.

I stopped the weighted walks while pracipating in Squatober. Figured that would just be too much on my knees.

20lb vest for 30-40 minutes each morning 5 days a week. It's nice to get the heart moving early.

Nightly walks have been crucial to my mental health. I’ve struggled with anxiety most of my life and started walking regularly about 6 years ago. Walking, talking to myself, praying (if you’re in that that) really helps me to put the workday behind me and enjoy my off time.

I’ve gotten away from it the last few months and have noticed the anxiety creeping back. Started the walks again 2 weeks ago and already seeing improvement.
