They get a token player here and there that would play else where. The players that are good and difference makers are from the feeder schools, not players poached from public schools. Even the public schools miss out on talent due to preference of extracurricular activities.

They've had years where Cook at ND has had all-white football teams, and won.......pretty sure he doesn't recruit.
