I think a big part of why the Pels haven't done much trade wise since CJ is because nobody wants our loose change. If your goal is to get a bag of chips from the vending machine, the chips cost $1, and the machine only takes dollars and quarters, someone offering you 6 rolls of pennies for your Half Dollar doesn't really get you closer to the bag of chips even though it's a 3x overpay.

Pels reportedly tried to get Bridges for 4 1sts when he was traded to the Nets and were rebuffed. Our assets have not gotten better since then.
