Lynyrd Skynyrd is the answer.

My first thought. With Rossington dead and Artimus Pyle doing his own thing, Rickey Medlock is the only touring band member to have any connection to the original band, and he left to start Blackfoot before Pronounced was released.

Mike Love tours with a group of musicians as "The Beach Boys," but none of the musicians were part of any of the official lineups from the 60s through the 80s.

I believe Bruce Johnston has been somehow connected to this.

For at least some shows Love even got David Marks, who briefly replaced Al Jardine when the latter attended dental school c. '62. Marks left when anti-Semitic Murray Wilson drove him out of the band.

You don't think that Johnny Van Zant has a connection to the original band?
