That was stupid but the female Eskimo swat team thing is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in a TV show. Holy frick that was bad.

It reminded me of the SNL skit when they did it’s a wonderful life and the townspeople mob murdered Mr Potter at the end. It wasn’t quite as funny as the skit, but it was hilariously bad.

You haven’t seen season 1?

That was the dumbest shite I have ever seen. As a stand alone it may have been somewhat ok but I started it and finished it, and when I saw that Internal Affairs camera I wanted to throw the remote at the tv.

We knew who the writer was & her views before the season. Shame on us for falling for it & watching.

Not sure who this season was supposed to appeal to. Even my wife, who love’s the strong female character etc. etc, hated the season and couldn’t even finish the last episode. She literally said “wtf” and rolled over when the janitors were storming into the Tsalal.

I watched 4 episodes of this out of respect for S1 being greatness and S3 being a redemption to good. So disappointing.

What was the motive for the janitors attacking the scientist?

Not sure if serious.

Was this an “uprising” due being mistreated or rape or forced labor or something?

I know I’m being lazy and could just watch the last few episodes but I already feel duped watching 4 episodes of this and only did because of the name True Detective and the coattails of season 1

I know that was supposed to be serious , but they stabbed her dozens of times and are standing around her as she should be bleeding out rather quickly and she would not die .

All I kept thinking was during Austin powers, the robot that wouldn’t die “ prepare to die powers !”

It took me right out of the scene

I've been looking online today at all of the praise this sack of shite is getting. The emperor has no clothes. This is truly a clown world we now live in.

I was so distracted by the reveal I’m not even sure I remember how the cleaning ladies found out the scientist killed Annie? I remember them finding the secret hatch but that’s it. Did they even tell us what evidence told the cleaning lady swat team that those people killed Annie?

They found the star-shaped murder weapon and went through their notebooks

They found a tool that was the same shape as the stab wounds on Annie K. So they know for a fact that it was the same murder weapon even though it had no blood on it. I guess we are to assume the cleaning ladies were all so familiar with the autopsy photos that they absolutely knew it was the murder weapon and felt totally comfortable murdering all the scientists. Couldn't have been one or two that killed her- they knew they all participated.

Interestingly they apparently understood the mine was creating huge amounts of pollution to help the scientists but didn't think that was worth making public.

Well the evidence of them covering for the mine kind of gave it away.

Season was dog shite. I kind of enjoyed the cleaning ladies taking out the trash.

Exactly, no way they could’ve made those determinations based on what was available to them.
