I know the Nebraska coach said 2-2.5 million for a starting QB
Is that a year?

Absurd. Amateur sports no longer exist in D1. It is a professional system.
Time to eliminate the NCAA and college sports in football, basketball, and baseball.
MLB farm leagues and G leagues only with a similar structure in football.

I highly doubt 2 mill is for one year. My guess is it's like a contract. Also, for people that don't know, these contracts have some obligations you have to deliver on to hit you payments. Some are social media posts, some are autograph signings, some are charity type stuff.
