This is just the worst take from supporters of candidates other than Trump. No one says "other people shouldn't run because it's Trump's turn" other than you clowns.

The reason other candidates shouldn't have run is because Trump won is still wildly popular among Republicans to the point where it's not realistic anyone else would beat this time around. Not because "he's due" but because he's who the people want.

If Biden pulls out another cheat then in 2028 Trump will legitimately too old and it will be a more even field.

Some people still want to operate on succession, rather than merit in 2024

You need to check out Twitter. I've lost count of the number of pro-Trump twitter accounts who have said this. And when Trump loses to Biden again, they'll say that DeSantis should wait until 2032 because 2028 is still "Trump's turn."

This is fair. I think if Trump does the 3 things of

1. Securing the border
2. Drills
3. Peace deals in Israel & Ukraine

His 2nd term will be a success. Anything else would be gravy.

Nah. He knew he had no shot and ran anyway. He's either tremendously arrogant or stupid.

1 isn’t going to happen. There’s too much money to be made there on too many fronts.

2 should happen.

3 will happen just by him going into office. Those are both fake wars that aren’t happening with no apologies to Baudrillard.

Meh, he fricked up, listening to the never trumpers.

he should of kept florida strong, supported trump, and started to get his gang ready in 2 years,

Instead, he listened, and got f'in dick punched by Laura loomer. She did more damage to him than anyone else could. She, from being a Florida resident and ran for office, knew all of RDS people, and their dirty little secrets, and brought them all out. As they attacked her, she brought out her note book and info, and they quit and dropped like flies.

In the end, RDS got ran by Loomer, Trump in 1 stop finished him off.

There was none until DeSantis started getting a tiny sliver of Trump's spotlight and Trump commanded the troops to viciously attack the only governor in the country actually standing up to the left and getting shite done. I mean Trump attacked Kayleigh McEnany and called her "milquetoast" because she got a poll number wrong. I'm going to vote for him of course but he's a child and he's going to be manipulated just like he was last time by people that know all they have to do is suck up to him a little bit to derail everything. He's already got Lindsay Graham doing it and the cult idiots here are just ignoring it

Well first of all, Twitter is for lunatics. I don't know about the whole Republican base, but I do know Trump's lost a few diehard supporters from 2020 to now. I'm a Trump supporter myself and I couldn't justify supporting another run in 2028 if this doesn't work out.

He's already strayed a bit far from his 2015 and 2016 messaging which made him so popular. Another loss would send him spiraling i believe.

For one thing, Ramaswamy will now have a platform for the next 4 years. I don’t buy what he’s selling, but I didn’t believe Trump in 2015 either.

Besides flopping around in high heeled boots, and allowing the establishment to use him to damage Trump you mean?
